Nigel Walker has been taking photographs for almost fifty years. Now retired he is spending much more time developing his work and techniques.
He says, “Photography is about seeing. Great photographs have three elements – geography (sometimes internal), biography (a part of the photographer) and metaphor. This is what most photographers aim for and yet often it seems just beyond our grasp and judging the quality of work is always a personal thing for the viewer”.
